Junelle Tumblin Lawson, 53, died on Tuesday evening, September 10, 2013.  

She was a 1977 graduate of Howard High School, a graduate of Edmondson Business College, and attended University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was currently employed by the Chattanooga School System (Brainerd High School) and a former employee of Provident Insurance Company.

Junelle was a long time faithful member of Greater Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church.

Junelle is survived by a son, Christopher M. Winston, Jr., mother, Willie Mae Lawson; sisters Edwine (Lamar) Trollinger, Carolyn Hawthorne, Patricia Lawson; brothers L. David (Sarah) Lawson, Jr., Jerry Lawson, Donice (Janice) Lawson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a very special friend, Christopher M. Winston, Sr.

The body will lie in state on Monday, Sept. 16, after noon, at the John P. Franklin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Greater Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 652 East 10th St. The eulogy will be by Dr. Nathaniel Carter. Interment will be in Lakewood-East Memorial Garden.

Patricia Martin Lawhorn, 64, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, September 1, 2016.  She was born on November 7, 1951, to the late John and Jane Martin, Jr. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. DA Pinkston Files Petition To Declare 2 Gangs A Public Nuisance

District Attorney General Neal Pinkston filed a petition on Monday asking that two Chattanooga gangs, the Gangster Disciples and the Grape Street Crips, and their members be declared public nuisances. 2 Boaters Die In Suspected Carbon Monoxide Poisoning On Chickamauga Lake
